Campus International High School's Cole Center at Cleveland State University (3100 Chester Ave.). This building formerly housed our K-8 sister school, which is now located a few blocks west (2160 Payne Ave). The Cole Center underwent massive renovations to become afacility tailored to the needs of high-school-aged IB Learners in the 21st Century.

School hours are 8:35 AM to 3:35 PM. Campus International runs on the traditional calendar with extended year. As start dates and holidays can shift from year to year, please visit the CMSD Academic Calendar for the most up to date information for this year.

All students are provided with a student pass to access the entire RTA network free of charge. Situated just one block off the popular HealthLine and within short walking distance of more than 10 other routes, Campus International High School is one of the most conveniently located schools for public transit. The International Baccalaureate (IB) is an internationally-recognized school model and curriculum that offers three programs: the Primary Years Programme (PYP, grades K-5), the Middle Years Programme (MYP, grades 6-10), and the Diploma Programme (grades 11-12). CIHS offers the latter two programs while our sister elementary school, Campus International School, and William Raney Harper Elementary offer the first two programs. IB aims to develop compassionate critical thinkers with the tools to succeed by emphasizing ten character traits that make up the IB Learner Profile

The IB curriculum is a rigorous program that requires instruction in six of eight subject areas in the MYP as well as a Community Project and Personal Project undertaken through Campus International's unique "IB Core" class and reflecting students' individual interests. At the Diploma Programme level, students continue with their individual academic interests by writing an extended essay and undertaking service learning as they prepare themselves for the self-directed nature of university study. The Diploma Programme also requires students to take advanced college-level courses in six subject areas that culminate in internationally-normed exams as they prepare for the prestigious IB diploma.

In order to complete the Diploma Programma, students are required to take a number of advanced IB courses taught at a college level. These courses culminate in internationally-normed exams, and strong scores on these exams are recognized for college credit at most universities. Additionally, being located on the campus of Cleveland State University allows many of our students to easily take advantage of Ohio's College Credit Plus program by taking courses directly from CSU.

Just as importantly, the rigorous nature of the IB program prepares students to be competitive applicants for four-year colleges in Ohio, nationwide, and even across the world.

Yes. Arts is one of the six subject areas offered in both the MYP and DP, and Campus International High School's builds off of a strong tradition of arts education in our sister school's K-8 program.

Campus International is an official Ohio High School Athletic Association (OHSAA) school and member of the Senate Athletic League. We have fielded teams in basketball, cheer, cross country, e-sports, lacrosse, soccer, swimming, track and field, volleyball. We encourage students to show leadership and commitment by organizing student interest in forming a team, and we help to make those possibilities into realities. Students interested in starting other sports or clubs may organize their classmates and submit formal interest at any time.

If you are interested in a sport for which we are unable to field a team, it may be possible to play for another CMSD school. Students interested in this path should contact our Athletic Director.

A:Campus International was founded on a belief that the rigorous IB program is a good educational model for all students, so the school does not restrict access to any students except as mandated by the Offices of Special Education or Multilingual/Multicultural Education.Campus International offers supports for individual students through instructional aides and intervention specialists, as well as through a collective emphasis on inclusion in the general education program.
